
Prof John Stevenson is Reader in Metabolic Medicine in the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London, Visiting Professor at the Belgrade School of Medicine, and Consultant Physician at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London, where he jointly runs the UK’s first female heart disease clinic. His research has included studies of metabolic risk factors for coronary heart disease and the effects of sex hormone deficiency and replacement, and metabolic bone diseases, particularly the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. He lectures extensively throughout the world, and has over 450 publications in journals and books, including 12 textbooks. He is Chairman of the charity Women’s Health Concern, Trustee of the British Menopause Society, Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, Foundation Member of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine (UK) and Executive Committee Member of the International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology. He is a past Chairman of the British Menopause Society, past Executive Committee Member of the International Menopause Society and of the European Menopause and Andropause Society, and past Editor of Maturitas.

Dr. Faubion completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin and medical school and residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She received her masters of business administration at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota in 2019.
She is Professor and Chair of the Department of Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida and the Penny and Bill George Director of the Center for Women’s Health. In 2019 she was named Medical Director of The North American Menopause Society.
Her clinical research interests include menopause and sexual health in women. She is Principal Investigator for the Data Registry on Experiences of Aging, Menopause and Sexuality (DREAMS). She has served on the board of trustees for the North American Menopause Society and the board of directors for the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. She also serves as editor of the journal, Menopause, and is on the editorial board of Journal of Sexual Medicine.
Angela Maas, MD, PhD is a clinical cardiologist since more than 30 years and has developed a main interest in heart disease in women over the past decades. She established the first outpatient clinic for women in the Netherlands in 2003. She focuses on the early identification of women at increased CV risk and symptom evaluation in women at middle-age. She has received many awards such as by the Dutch Society of female physicians (2010), the Radboud University (2014) and was knighted by the King in 2017. Her book ‘A Woman’s Heart’(2020, Octopus) summarizes our current insights in women’s cardiac health and is now available in four languages.
Dr Lambrinoudaki was born in Athens and graduated from Athens University
Medical School. She conducted her Doctoral Thesis in Ruprecht Karls University in
Heidelberg, Germany on the Epidemiology of osteoporosis in association with
endogenous sex hormones. She was trained in Clinical Endocrinology in the
Department of Pathophysiology, Athens University Medical School and in the
Departments of Endocrinology and Metabolism, in Ruprecht Karls University,
Heidelberg, Germany, in Nikaia General District Hospital, Piraeus, Greece and in
Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong. Currently she is Professor of
Queen Mary HospitalUniversity of Hong KongCurrently she is Professor of
University of Athens, Greece. She has been responsible for educational, clinical and
research activities in her Department since 2000. She has authored 242 publications
(May 2021) in peer-reviewed international journals, mainly on gynecological
endocrinology, menopause, hormone therapy and osteoporosis. She is President of the
Hellenic Society of Climacterium and Menopause, Past President of the European
Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS, 2015-2017), Scientific Director of
EMAS (2017-today) and Editor in Chief of the journal MATURITAS, official journal
of EMAS. She is the recipient of the 2018 Henry Burger Prize which is awarded by
the International Menopause Society to the Scientist with the most significant
contributions in the field of menopause in the previous five years of a World
Congress.

Alfred O.Mueck holds three full natural science degrees: for “Chemistry/Biochemistry”, “Medicine” and for “Clinical Pharmacology”. He is a member of societies of obstetrics and gynecology, gynecological endocrinology, internal medicine, clinical pharmacology and oncology/senology. Presently he is in the Board of the International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology (ISGE), and European Society of Gynecology (ESG). In the field of menopause he is in the Board of the European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS), and past member of the International Menopause Society (IMS) Board. During ten years he was the President of the German Menopause Society (GMS), increasing during his presidency by numerous work-shop activities the number of members from 300 to now 2500. Now he is the Honorary President for Life of the German Menopause Society. He is the President of the new “Chinese-German Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology” and Vice-President of the “Chinese Society of Gynecological Endocrinology”. For his medical services in China he got the highest Chinese Government Award from the Premierminister of China (Li Keqiang), the “Chinese Friendship Award”, from the Chief Mayor of Beijing (Chen Jining) the “Great Wall Award”, and for the Beijing Government he officially is working as “Beijing City Special-Recruited Expert”.
Professor Mueck has published more than 800 original papers, reviews and book chapters; has more than 750 published abstracts and is Editor/Co-editor of more than 20 books on hormone therapy (sexual steroids, cardiovascular system/metabolism, gynecological cancer). His clinical and research priorities have been in hormone therapy, hormonal contraception, endometriosis and breast cancer. He has been a principal investigator in over 50 national/international phase I–IV clinical trials involving more than 20,000 patients.

Stavroula (Lina) Paschou, MD, PhD is Assistant Professor of Endocrinology at the School of Medicine, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. She is based at the Endocrine Unit and Diabetes Centre, Department of Clinical Therapeutics, Alexandra Hospital in Athens. She graduated with Honors (8.88/10) from School of Medicine, University of Ioannina, Greece in 2005. She obtained her PhD in Endocrinology with Honors from the same University in 2010. Then, she worked at the Department of Diabetes, St Bartholomew’s Hospital, University of London, UK, funded by grants from the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) and the British Diabetic Twin Trust. She continued with clinical training in Endocrinology at the Hellenic Red Cross Hospital in Athens, Greece. In 2015, she was awarded the International Endocrine Scholarship by the European Society of Endocrinology (ESE) and moved to Boston, MA, USA. She completed her training in Endocrinology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA.
Assist. Prof. Paschou has published a large number of chapters in prestigious scientific books, such as Oxford Textbook of Endocrinology and Diabetes, and papers in prestigious scientific journals. Donna E. Stewart CM, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Donna Stewart is the Inaugural Chair of Women’s Health at University Health Network and University of Toronto. She is a University Professor at University of Toronto and is appointed in the Faculty of Medicine in the Departments of Psychiatry, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Medicine, Anaesthesia, Family and Community Medicine, and Surgery. She is a Senior Scientist at Toronto General Hospital Research Institute. Dr Stewart has won numerous awards for research and leadership and is an advisor on women’s health to the World Health Organization. She is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American and Canadian Psychiatric Associations and an Honorary Fellow of the WPA.
